Roman is an investment professional specializing in trading, financial markets, data analysis, and portfolio risk management. He works directly with an institutional trading desk, executing trades and contributing to the development of an equity risk management algorithm designed to support disciplined portfolio decisions.
As a member of his firm’s Investment Policy Committee, Roman contributes his expertise in market data, trading, and risk management to the investment process.
Roman earned a B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce, with an emphasis in Asset Management. He began his career as a trader at a top-five U.S. broker-dealer, where he developed his experience in professional trading and market execution. He currently holds the Series 66 license.
At The Academy of Finance® in New York City, Roman teaches Trading & Risk Management within the Wall Street Master Class®. He brings real-world trading experience into the classroom, helping high school and college students understand market mechanics, trade execution, market behavior, portfolio risk, and the role of disciplined risk management in professional investing.
